I can't believe that on October 3, 2008, it will have been four months since my little girl came into the world. On the one hand, it seems like just yesterday, and, on the other, it seems like she's always been here. I love spending time with her and watching her grow. I'm constantly amazed by all she's learned to do in such a few short months. Thanks for all the smiles, Elle!

My little girl!
I can't believe that on October 3, 2008, it will have been four months since my little girl came into the world. On the one hand, it seems like just yesterday, and, on the other, it seems like she's always been here. I love spending time with her and watching her grow. Our Little Elf!
No, that's not a Christmas Elf you're seeing. . . .just Elle. Isn't she so cute in this handmade-sweater?! It was a gift from Carol Hughes, a friend of my parents', and Elle had Shawn and I in stitches when she wore it. It was chilly on Saturday morning when Shawn went to take Elle for a walk, so she donned her first winter apparel. Here are some more snapshots of her.

The WOOMbie. . .Will It Work????
All of our close friends and family know that the only reason Elle can sleep so well is because she's swaddled and swinging all night long. In an attempt to transition Elle to her crib, Nana found this cool new invention. It's called a WOOMbie, and it just arrived today. It works like a swaddle, but allows the baby to move his/her arms and legs freely inside. We put Ellie in it the moment it came in the mail. If nothing else, she enjoyed hanging out it in. We'll keep you posted on how the sleeping goes.

Hop and Bananas Transfigured!
Hop and Bananas have returned. . .this time in the shape of Elle's new Jumparoo! Hop, Elle's trusty froggy friend, is now a comfortable seat for her to sit in. Bananas sings and plays music, along with Touc-E Touc-E bird and some new friends (yet to be named. We're open to suggestions). An elephant, tiger, flying bug, and lizard complete this "rainforest wonderland of fun" (Elle's words of course)!

Bath Time-Updated!!!
Fly Eagles Fly!
Our Little Bear Turns 3 Months Old!
I'M THREE MONTHS OLD!!!!!!!!!!
On September 3, 2008, our little girl turned 3 months old! In the last three months, Elle has learned to smile, laugh, "talk," hold her head up, sit up with assistance, hold her own hands together, grasp a toy (although she can't play with it yet), roll to her left side, and, most importantly, sleep through the night (albeit swaddled in her "straight jacket" and swinging non-stop. But hey, sleep is sleep, right?). Here are some recent pictures of our little bear.
