My Aunt Lynn came to visit Ellie today. While Elle slept through most of the visit, my aunt and I had the chance to catch up. Elle had just woken up when these pictures were taken, thus the reason for the deadpan look.

Elle's Buddy!

From almost day one, I've been searching for a "lovie" for Elle. . . a security blanket or toy to comfort her. A gift from my friend, Dianne, just might be the perfect solution. A Weekend of Firsts!

Oh . . .the lengths we go to to make a baby laugh. We had our first glimpse of Elle's laugh this weekend. I captured some of it on film while she was playing in her bouncy seat. It's just ashame I didn't have the recorder handy when I first started playing with her. She had some great belly laughs that went unrecorded.

In addition, Ellie had her first official lunch date on Saturday. Shawn and I took Elle to Union Jacks, an Inn on the banks of the Manatawny River. Elle's behavior was great. . . as long as we kept her outside. She didn't like being indoors very much, so Nana stayed with her outside while we had lunch. We had planned on dining outdoors, but it was closed due to licensing problems. . . Big Bummer! Thanks to Nana who enjoyed spending time with Elle.

Ellie's Smile

In the morning, Elle is usually all smiles. On Saturday, while waiting for Nana to arrive, Elle flashed some smiles for the camera. Elle spent Saturday with Nana, while Shawn and I went to Shawn's cousin's wedding. Below are some pictures from the event. The wedding was beautiful and we enjoyed spending the day with family. Thanks to Nana for taking such great care of Elle, and to the Pfrommer's and Kelly's for throwing such a great party for us to enjoy.

Playdate with Paige!

Today, Elle had her first playdate (although she slept through most of it). Elle's friend, Paige, along with her mommy, Sarah, came over to play. Paige had a great time "test-driving" all of Elle's toys, and she really enjoyed showing Elle how to play with "Hop" and "Bananas" (be sure to check out the video at the end). Thanks for a great time, Sarah and Paige!

Pop-Pop and Mom-Mom Arrive!

Pop-Pop Ray, Mom-Mom, and Uncle Jeffrey came to visit with Elle on Saturday afternoon. Elle enjoyed snuggling with grandparents and meeting her Uncle Jeffrey for the first time. A big thanks for the frame for Elle's footprint and picture!

Cupano's Come for a Visit!

On Saturday afternoon, Elle had many visitors. Our friends, Jeff and Andrea, along with their beautiful daughters, Sofia and Juliana, came to meet Elle for the first time. Thanks so much for the adorable outfits and yummy dinner!!! Elle had a great time meeting her new friends.
