Family Time

Shawn and I feel so blessed that my grandparents were finally able to travel from Illinois for an extended visit with Elle. We spent four fun-filled days of laughing, playing, and having fun with Elle's Gigi and Pop-Pop before the three of us had to return to West Chester. Here are some snapshots from our mini-vacation.

Easter Sunday

We were so fortunate to spend Easter Sunday at the Clinefelter's (Elle's Great-Aunt and Uncle's house). The food and company were both awesome. Thanks for the great time!

Thursday, April 9th was a beautiful day! Elle enjoyed some time outside playing with Daddy. We broke out the bubbles for the first time and she loved them! Elle thought it was so neat to try and catch them.

Easter Bunny Express!

On Saturday, Shawn, Elle, and I went to the New Hope/Ivyland Train station to take Elle for a ride on the train. Elle's Aunt Christy and Uncle James, along with Jame's niece, Brianna, went with us on the Easter Bunny Express. Elle had fun visiting the Easter Bunny (she thought he was funny), and we had a nice dinner at Guiseppe's afterwards. Elle's Granny and Gigi met up with us for dinner. We had a great time seeing everyone.

Lady in Red!

Now that Elle is almost 10 months old, I realized that I never did a nine month update. At Elle's 9 month well check, she was 20.11 lbs (70%) and 28.75 inches in length (70%). Her noggin measured in at a whopping 18.5 inches around (92%-those good ol' Eichert genes)! Elle is smiling and happy most of the time. She loves to play by herself, but she also enjoys hanging out with mom and dad or her friends at daycare. Elle loves music and will dance and clap whenever she hears it. She loves "playing" the piano. It could occupy her for hours. One of Elle's favorite things to do is to go to the park. She adores the swings! I will have to take a video of her. It's priceless. Her are some snapshots of the little bear (taken at about 9.5 months).

Busy Bear!

Busy, busy, busy! That's the only way to describe her. These days, Elle is into anything and everything. Shawn and I are blessed though, because she will play and entertain herself for hours. Oh, how much fun an empty box can be!
