Where did the time go?

I honestly don't know where the time has gone. I was appalled when I looked and saw it had been over a month since I last posted. Elle is now 18 months old. . . and every bit the adventuresome toddler. The following is my feeble attempt at getting some pictures of her in front of our tree.

Elle LOVED going trick-or-treating for the first time. Despite the rain, she didn't want to go home.

A Great Fall Day!

She's off and running. . . and hard to keep up with. We had a great Sunday outdoors!

When do we go Trick-or-Treating??

What better way to spend a Saturday morning. . . than prepping for Halloween. A bit camera-shy, but we managed to capture a few pictures of our "little bear." Surprisingly, she loved her costume and didn't want to take it off.

Bears say . . . "RrrrAAAA!"

We're so sorry that we've been missing in action. Our computer finally went, and we've been busy trying to retrieve our files and save for a new computer. We probably won't have any new pictures to post for awhile, but I wanted to give everyone an update.

It took Elle approximately 3 days to get steady on her new feet. . . now she's practically running. At Elle's 15 month appointment, she weighed 24lbs (73%) and was 31.5 inches (80 %). . .and the head . . . still 90%. Big brain, I say!

She is so funny these days. . .learning her animals sounds. . .saying "Uh. . .OOOOOH!" everytime someone drops something. . . and requesting that "Melmo" be put on everytime she sees a television. Her vocabulary is expanding at a phenominal rate, although, she can still carry on a full conversation, and neither Shawn nor I will have a clue as to what she's said.

She loves shoes, books, pillows, Elmo, and the alphabet. She proudly sings "E. . .F. . .G" everytime she sees letters. Albeit, they're the only three letters she can say.

Shawn and I are looking forward to the holidays, spending Christmas with Elle and the family, and watching all the wonderful changes that are taking place in our little girl.

Labor Day 2009

FINALLY...MY FIRST STEPS!

It took all of 15 months and 5 days, but Elle took her first real steps today. First at daycare, she took six steps, and at home, we were able to capture one of a few "first walks". Yea Elle!
